The University of Bayreuth Gateway Office will be the point for information and contact to support the exchange of Students, PhDs, Postdoctoral Researchers and Professors between the University of Bayreuth and Partner Universities in Australia and New Zealand.

Located in the Australian-German Climate & Energy College on the University of Melbourne Parkville Campus, it strengthens the cooperations between research and teaching by supporting the foundation of joint degrees and organising workshops.

With an office located in Melbourne, contacts to relevant institutions in science and industry, as well as regional partner networks of the University of Bayreuth in Australia and New Zealand are easier developed.

For all former University of Bayreuth students and staff members based in or visiting Melbourne, the Gateway Office is coordinating an active Alumni network with meetings on a regular basis to keep in contact.
